Cakile maritima

Sea rocket. Non-native, an invader from the East Coast.

Blooms year-round. Lives on the dunes, well above the high tide line. It seems to thrive until humans cut it back.

Edible, but with (to my mind) a rather nasty medicinal tang. I don’t recommend it.
