Castor Bean.

Invader from Europe. Planted in the SB area during World War I to provide oil for airplanes, now to be found in most disturbed areas.

Seems to bloom all year round.

A large bush which huge (1 foot diameter) leaves. Produces strange prickly “bean”s.
