Spanish broom. Introduced from Europe as a means of controlling erosion on highway cuts. Now considered an invasive weed.

Blooms Apr-July. Seen on Hwy 154 and Gibraltar Rd.

The flowers are about an inch in size, and there are essentially no leaves on the plant but the themselves stems are green.
