Capsella bursa-pastoris

Wildflowers Dicots Eudicots Rosids Brassicales Brassicaceae Capsella

Shepard’s purse. Another European invader.

Seen blooming in March on Rattlesnake connector. The flowers are tiny (1.4mm in diameter) and the plant is small, so it’s easy to miss. The seedpods are much more obvious, and I have seen them many times without noticing flowers.
