Cuscuta salina

Wildflowers Dicots Eudicots Asterids Solanales Convolvulaceae Cuscuta

Cuscuta-salina-flowerSalt Marsh dodder.

Has little white flowers (small in themselves, but bigger than the other dodders I’ve seen) with 5 petals, noticed them blooming November and December.

As the name suggests this dodder lives in marshes, and like all dodders, it is a parasitic plant which clambers over other plants.
