Datura wrightii

Wildflowers Dicots Eudicots Asterids Solanales Solanaceae Datura

Sacred Datura

This may have been introduced from Mexico before Europeans arrived, or may be native.

Have seen it blooming from June to October. First noticed seed pods in October.

The flowers are quite large, 8 inches long and 4~5 inches in diameter.
