Spanish clover, Spanish lotus

Formerly Lotus purshianus, or Lotus unifoliolatus.

A small pea-like flower, seen blooming on Rattlesnake Connector and Blue Canyon trails. First noticed blooming in early June, still blooming in early August. Tends to grow in great mounds.
