Calystegia malacophylla

Wildflowers Dicots Eudicots Asterids Solanales Convolvulaceae Calystegia

Woolly Morning Glory. Found on the backside of Romero Rd. about 2 miles down from Camino Ciello.

Large white flowers.

This is not a vine, but a small decumbent shrub. The leaves are grey and hairy. Bracts bind close to the flower as in C. macrostegia.

First noticed it blooming in May 2011.
