Prickly lettuce. European invader.

Common on Jesusita trail, and down near Forbush. All over town.

Can grow up to 5 feet tall or so. Small yellow dandelion-like flowers borne on an inflorescence with many other flowers. Leaves either pinnate or entire with small prickles on the back.
